I remember as a small child
I sat under the big quilting frame as my grandmother and her sisters made quilts, shared stories and worked their love and care into each stitch, each piece of fabric. At about 5yrs old, I was given the honor of being able to hand stitch the small triangles into squares and stars.

My materials are fabric, ribbon, trims, beads, small charms/figures and occasionally I also use paint and glitter to decorate the art. My art usually begins from a story or a quote, I do several sketches, create a base and search for the fabrics and materials (often finding what I need in my studio), then I begin...
